The Syrian Army, backed by allied forces, continue to battle Islamist militants inside the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project in southern Aleppo, making slight but significant advances.
Lost more than 2 months ago in a wide-scale jihadi offensive, the government forces struggle to recapture the strategic district. However, the mission gets more challenging with the jihadi groups still in control of the imperative Hikmah hilltop.
Meanwhile, the government forces, backed by paramilitary fighters and Russian airstrikes, resume the military operations to fully reclaim the rebel-held districts in the city’s east.
