BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – For the second time in two weeks, the Turkish Armed Forces have come under attack in the Idlib Governorate.

According to preliminary reports, a Turkish military vehicle struck an improvised explosive device (IED) in the southern Idlib town of Sufahan.

No casualties have been reported as of yet.

The town of Sufahan is under the control of the Turkish-backed militants and their allied jihadist forces.

Last week, a similar attack was carried out against the Turkish forces as they were conducting a patrol along the M-4 Highway (Aleppo-Latakia Highway).

At least two soldiers were killed as a result of this attack in Idlib last week; this was later blamed on “radical groups”.
