BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – The Turkish-backed militants scored a new advance in the Ras Al-Ayn countryside this week, despite an ongoing ceasefire agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

According to a report from northern Syria, the Turkish-backed militants attacked the Syrian Democratic Forces in the southern countryside of Ras Al-Ayn this afternoon, seizing two towns after a short battle.

The report said the so-called “Syrian National Army” managed to capture the towns of Jan Tamr and Al-Shakriyah following the SDF’s withdrawal towards the city of Ras Al-Ayn.

This attack by the Turkish-backed militants was a violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement that was brokered by the United States after U.S. President Donald Trump’s meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Su opinión de Trump no cuanta para Erdogan, lo que llama la atención es la pasividad de Rusia frente a la invasión de mas terroristas en Siria.
