BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) – The Syrian government and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have resumed trading oil and goods in eastern Syria after short hiatus due to undisclosed reasons.

According to a source in Damascus, government transport tanks have crossed the Euphrates from the SDF territories this week in order to deliver a large amount of oil to different areas of Syria.

The resumption of the oil trade in eastern Syria is incredibly important to the Syrian government as the recent fuel crisis has caused many issues across the country.

By resuming trade in eastern Syria, the SDF also makes money through oil sales and the distribution of goods to the government areas.

While the U.S. opposes the Syrian government, they have not obstructed the SDF’s oil sales to Damascus.

SDF gains free access to this oil thanks to the US, which denies the Syrian army access to the oil wells, located in the oil-rich Deir Ezzor region. Back in the Obama years, it was reported that the USAF had killed about 80 Syrian soldiers who had entered this area — their OWN country, dammit! Later, under the new puppet, Trump, they killed more Syrian soldiers here, and also a slew of Russian mercenaries. Syria needs to get rid of these thieves and killers so it can get control of its own economy. I have no doubt that this will… Read more »
