BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) – The Syrian government accused the U.S. Coalition of massacring more than 50 civilians in the Baghouz Camp last night.
According to a statement from the Syrian government, the U.S. Coalition killed these 50+ civilians after hitting the Baghouz camp with internationally banned white phosphorous bombs.
No further details have been released.
The U.S. Coalition resumed their airstrikes on the Baghouz Camp on Sunday following the Islamic State’s (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) refusal to surrender their last positions.
In addition to the airstrikes, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have begun storming the Islamic State’s positions in a bid to clear the terrorist group’s last pocket in the eastern region of the Euphrates River Valley.
