BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:20 P.M.) – Last night, the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) attempted to escape the battlefield near Baghouz Tahtani by fleeing across the Euphrates River.
However, as they attempted to cross the Euphrates River, they found themselves under attack by a group of Syrian Arab Army soldiers that were awaiting their crossing.
According to reports, the Syrian Arab Army managed to eliminate all of the Islamic State fighters, killing a total of eleven terrorists along the western bank of the Euphrates River.
