BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:20 P.M.) – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday.
“I would like to express my gratitude to you personally, Mr. President, for the firm position you take in protecting international law and the vital national and state interests of the Republic of Serbia,” Vucic said.
“The situation in the Western Balkans is very complicated, and Serbia as a country faces numerous provocations on a daily basis,” he stated.
“Regardless of our desire to reach a compromise, to maintain peace and stability, we are very far from any solution to the question of Kosovo and Metohija,” the Serbian president added.
It is the 13th time the Serbian president has met with Putin in the last six years.
