BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:20 P.M.) – The Russian ground troops are not participating in the upcoming Syrian Arab Army (SAA) attack along the Hama-Latakia axis, nor are they planning to launch an operation in the Idlib Governorate, an officer from the SAA’s 4th Armored Division told Al-Masdar News.

According to the officer, all reports claiming Russian ground troops are taking part in the Syrian Army’s operations are ‘lies’.

The officer said the Russian Armed Forces sent military police to their posts in northern Hama, adding that this is a common occurance and has nothing to do with any operation.

The rumors of Russian ground forces participating in the Syrian Army’s ongoing operation in northwestern Syria were spread by pro-militant channels. These pro-militant channels cited a Free Syrian Army commander.

  1. The rumors of Russian ground forces participating in the Syrian Army’s ongoing operation in northwestern Syria were spread by pro-militant channels – well well obviously they can post all Fake News and they themselves would have also probably used Sarin / Chlorine Gas in Khan Sheikhoun and blamed the SAA / SAF in 2018.

These pro-militant channels cited a Free Syrian Army commander of course as if this guy has credible information, he has to say such fake news because now he is so worried that his Jihadi days are just numbered and Russians are going to come after him along with the SAA and hopes the US & Western countries step in and put pressure on Russia and which is not going to help. As for Russia they can officially deny and do what ever it takes to support SAA.
