BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 A.M.) – The Russian Air Force bombed a militant site in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate this weekend.
Using an attack drone, the Russian Air Force heavily targeted Jaysh Al-Izza’s positions around the small town of Zakat, which is near the front-lines in the Hama Governorate.
Video footage of the Rusian attack on northern Hama was captured by the pro-opposition STEP News Agency this weekend:
The Russian Air Force has maintained a strong presence over northern Hama and southern Idlib recently; this has often led to the latter carrying out airstrikes on some of the military positions of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Jaysh Al-Izza.
Last night, the Russian Air Force swarmed the southern and western countrysides of the Idlib Governorate; however, they did not bomb any sites.
The following morning, they sent their attack drones to carry out an attack on the militant positions in the Hama Governorate.
