According to preliminary media reports, at least 9 people were killed with 12 injured in a blast in a northern Syrian city of Manbij, Wednesday.
At least four US soldiers are feared killed and three more injured, as local media reports.
The so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) took responsibility for the attack that reportedly targeted the US-led international coalition’s patrol.
Rescue teams, US troops and a helicopter were seen in the area of the attack.
The explosive device was reportedly detonated in a vehicle near a restaurant and a market.
