Lebanon-based Hezbollah does not rule out that it, Iran, and Syria could retaliate against Israel if it conducts another airstrike on Syria, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said.

“There’s a possibility that we will make a decision on various responsive measures over Israeli aggression since what happened the last time [in Syria] was very dangerous,” Nasrallah told Lebanese Al Mayadeen broadcaster late on Saturday.

In this Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 photo, Israeli military equipment works on the Lebanese-Israeli border in front of the Israeli town of Metula, background, near the southern village of Kafr Kila, Lebanon.

As Israeli excavators dig into the rocky ground, Lebanese across the frontier gather to watch what Israel calls the Northern Shield operation aimed at destroying attack tunnels built by Hezbollah.

But Lebanese soldiers in new camouflaged posts, behind sandbags, or inside abandoned homes underscore the real anxiety that any misstep could lead to a conflagration between the two enemy states that no one seems to want.

He specified that Hezbollah, Iran, and Syria — the members of the anti-Israeli alliance Axis of Resistance — could respond to Tel Aviv’s aggression, emphasizing that their capabilities should not be underestimated.

Earlier in the week, Israel delivered three airstrikes on reported Iranian targets in Syria. At least four Syrian servicemen were killed and another six were wounded in the airstrikes.

Hezbollah has been supporting the Syrian government in its fight against terrorist groups since 2012 upon Damascus’ request.

Nasrallah has repeatedly emphasized that Hezbollah troops were ready to leave Syria immediately after the Syrian government asked them to do so.

Hey, Hassan, remember how you reacted a few weeks after having started the 2006 war? Didn’t you wished that, had you knew the Israeli reaction would be so violent, you wouldn’t had started the war? Yes you did, and publicly.

BTW, you don’t even know your enemy : the only Israeli institution in Tel-Aviv is Mossad, everything else is in their capital-city, Jerusalem.

“emphasizing that their capabilities should not be underestimated.”
=> Nobody underestimates them, in fact, they’re even overestimated. The day they’ll cross a red line which says they’re about to become really dangerous, this will seal their doom.

“Hezbollah has been supporting the Syrian government in its fight against terrorist groups since 2012”
=> And is doing anti-Israeli and anti-west terrorism since 1982-1983. Before 9-11, they even were the most lethal terror-group on Earth.

“But Lebanese soldiers…/…no one seems to want.”
=> Thanks to Hezbo not complying with UNSC res.1701 ordering its disarmament and its participation to the “the anti-Israeli alliance Axis”

In history, the “Axis” were… Hideki Tojo’s Japan, Mussolini’s Italy and Nazi Germany… We know how it ended : the #1 massacre in human history, 80M dead people. “Good” references…

I’m still puzzled at the restraint Israelis have. Would there be such a creep doing the same shït on us from Luxembourg or Switzerland, the Foreign Legion and the RPIMA would already had combed every house and area in for long and killed all of his gang.

The Iranians are not stupid Daesh, in fact they are very patient considering Israeli aggression towards Iran and all of its neighbours. They know they are not strong enough to take on Israel so they bide their time, very sensible too, all the time gaining strength. If history teaches us anything its that bullies never win and eventually even the most successful empires and warlike rulers eventually crumble.
Israel should be thankful that not all countries are as bloodthirsty as they demonstrably are !
But it’s only a matter of time.
