BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:10 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led Afrin Liberation Forces carried out a new round of attacks against the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) troops in the Afrin region of northwestern Aleppo this week.
According to the group’s official media wing, their personnel carried out three attacks against the TFSA troops in Afrin’s Ternada and Mahmoudiyah neighborhoods.
The first attack would prove to be the deadliest of them as the Afrin Liberation Forces managed to kill at least a half dozen rebels earlier this week.
The second attack would take place in the Mahmoudiyah neighborhoods; this resulted in the death of two rebel fighters.
The final attack was conducted by a sniper who targeted a Free Syrian Army checkpoint in the village of Tal Milad.
This sniper attack by the Afrin Liberation Forces resulted in the death of at least one rebel.
