BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:45 A.M.) – The largest jihadist rebel faction in northwestern Syria carry out a devastating missile strike in the eastern countryside of the Idlib Governorate last night.

According to reports from this front, the jihadist group Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham fired a U.S.-made TOW missile towards a gathering of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers near the abandoned base in the Abu Dhuhour area.

As a result of this missile strike, several Syrian Arab Army soldiers were reported dead or wounded as the jihadist rebels scored a direct hit on their positions.

Since the missile strike by the jihadist rebels, the Syrian Arab Army has stepped up their attacks in the Idlib and Hama governorates, firing several artillery shells towards the Al-Ghaab Plain and HTS-held towns.

Over the last 48 hours, the number of attacks between the two sides has more than doubled, leaving several civilians on both sides dead or wounded.
