BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 P.M.) – Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz said that his country is not Saudi Arabia and they will not enter a war of attrition against Iran.

According to Ynet News, Katz warned Iran four missiles were fired into the occupied Golan Heights from Syria.

Katz said the attack from Syria at dawn on Tuesday morning was an Iranian act, stressing that Israel would not allow the attack to be repeated again, and that his country was concerned about threats on its borders before the missiles entered their territory.

The Israeli army said at dawn on Tuesday that its defense systems had shot down four rockets fired from Syria into Israel.

Minutes earlier, sirens sounded from incoming missiles in the occupied Golan Heights.

At the same time, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported explosions near the Damascus International Airport in the eastern part of the capital. However, they took down the report shortly after.

A source from the Syrian military denied any attack on the Damascus Airport, but they did say some Israeli projectiles entered their territory from the occupied Golan Heights.

No casualties were reported.

ISIS means Iranian Secret Intelligence Agency. Iran is very ecumenical when it comes to jihad : look at how they helped al-Qaeda to do 9-11. Cowards send their friends to attack others. Iran sends PIJ, Hebollah and Hamas or Houthis.

On 57 countries selling arms for the Iran-Iraq war, 39 sold weapons to both countries. No surprise it ended with a stalemate…

Golan is not Israel’s border. That is stolen Syrian territory taken in an Israeli sneak attack back in 1967.

The attack was not sneak, it was just like being a gunslinger provoking Lucky Luke, the man who shoots faster than his shadow. Syria and Jordan followed Nasser with his follies, they got what they deserved. Moreover, Syria shelled and sniped into Galilee from GH for 19 years, they’ll never do this again. Had Syria opted for peace and good neighbourhood, none of this would have happened. Oh, BTW, except the older ones, now GH Druzes side by Israel. There is even a bigger % of Young Druzes volunteering to serve into IDF than the % of young Jews being… Read more »

@death 2, Druze religion demands that they integrate and fight for the land they live in. This does not necessarily mean they would opt for Israel in a free referendum.

It’s what surfaces from all Druzes surveyed in Golan Heights, all the young ones sign in to receive the Israeli nationality, the mid-aged ones hesitate because they fear making the elder furious but as soon the elders are passing, they sign-in too. And remember that in Israel, the draft is only mandatory for the Jews : Arabs, Druzes, Christians don’t need to serve in IDF unless they volunteer. Just look at anti-Israeli the demonstrations in Golan Heights AMN covered several times : at best, you had 200 protesters, none under 50y old, the huge majority being visibly about 70y old…… Read more »

@death 2, France was also sure that the Saarland would not chose poverty stricken defeated Germany in the referendum.

I would not count on the Druze feeling non Arab especially – seeing the discriminatory politics and policies of the current Zionist nomenclatura. That abuse even alliterates Arab Jews. As You know.

Nobody can know how the Druze will see their nationality in another half generation time. Given they ever get a free referendum. Israel needs Golan water and will never allow a free referendum.

let us internationally galvanize this threat as Israel has done to Iran for threats,…so from this moment forward let the international community understand…Israel just threaten Iran

This is not a threat. When Iran arms & funds Hamas, PIJ and Hebollah to attack Israel, it’s a casus belli in regards of Hague Convention. Israel is entitled to absolutely take any measures it sees as appropriate, including all out war and this as long either a genuine ceasefire or a genuine peace treaty is signed. And it’s the same for around 40 countries! Even Panama, Argentina, Thailand or India can consider Iran declared war on them and have the right to attack whenever they consider to do so!
