DAMASCUS, SYRIA (11:20 P.M.) – In its latest propaganda video, ISIS released 17 minutes of mostly battlefield footage showing deadly skirmishes with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its paramilitary allies in the desert of Deir Ezzor Province.

Although much of the footage can be traced several months back, the Islamic State revealed it was still a force to be reckoned with, signified by dozens of military vehicles and loads of heavy weaponry being featured in the video.

Starting off with an initial claim of conspiracy between the US, Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran, ISIS showed off genuine battle footage from southwestern Deir Ezzor, including Go-Pro material from Iraqi volunteer pro-government troops that were killed-in-action after ISIS members overran their positions.

The following footage is highly graphic and represents uncensored ISIS material. Therefore, viewer discretion is advised:

I started the video and let it run and load while I did something else then came back and dragged the run line back to the start. It then worked properly all the way to the end. I wasn’t that graphic and if you have seen shot dead bodies before it is nothing. If a little squeamish can always look away as there aren’t many and they are short. Can’t help but admire their bravery, tactics and determination which does NOT !!! mean I admire them at all. The bravery of the Syrians and Iraqi’s to defeat these animals is… Read more »

These will be old and as was normal these outposts were isolated. ISIS would suddenly appear out of the desert and from a distance pour heavy machine gun and numerous RPD fire onto the compound bund ( dirt wall ) keeping heads down inside. Return fire FROM AK ‘S shooting at a distant spread out target was inaccurate and ineffective. ISIS advanced under the cover fire until they were under the bund then they were able to throw grenades and light weapons fire gain access to the compound. It was over for the defenders by then. I saw one similar… Read more »
