Tehran, Iran (6:40 A.M.) – The Iranian Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, called out the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and his clerics over their recent comments about Iranian Muslims.

Using his official Twitter account, Zarif posed that Iranian Muslims and Wahhabi Muslim followers do not have much in common.

Zarif, who is currently on a diplomatic tour of Latin America, has been a strong critic of Saudi Arabia’s interference in both the Arab and Muslim world.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sayyed ‘Ali Al-Husseini Khamenei, has not yet responded to the Saudi Grand Mufti’s insults.
