BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Bahram Ghassemi, responded to Vladimir Putin’s statement regarding the withdrawal of all foreign nations from Syria.

“We will stay inside Syria as long as there is a terrorist threat and as long as the Syrian government wants us there,” Ghassemi stated this morning.

“The nations that should leave Syria are the ones that entered without the permission of the Syrian government,” he added.

Iran sent several military advisors to Syria at the request of the Syrian government; they are currently embedded with the Syrian Army at several fronts across the country.

Abu, neither you nor Bahram Ghassemi understood what Putin meant by asking all foreign forces to withdraw. Putin was asking Amrika, Turki, France & UK forces to leave from Syria. Did Putin ever say Iran IRGC or Hezb specifically? No. Plz understand that. Putin knows IRGC, Hezb are doing a lot of work on the ground in clearing up a lot of shiit along with SAA and why would he ask them to leave?

Got it, got it, almost when I was about to give up – it was not Putin, it was some chump that as gone on my deadly dunce list – here -> https://southfront.org/senior-russian-official-us-turkey-iran-and-hezbollah-should-withdraw-from-syria/

To be fair to “Long Live Syria”, fo some reason I also thought it was Putin.

AL, I agree with you too. Eventually Iran IRGC, Hezbo too will have to withdraw too. They cant stay forever in Syria once the Daesh & other terrorist militant groups have been militarily weakened or totally defeated which is next to impossible. Please understand that by n large most of the Syrians are more moderate moslems due to their diverse religions. You will find many of the faith followers living together without any issue. Late Brig Gen Bassam the Beard wasn’t a typical Shia Moslem. He was a Druze faith follower and arent like typical Shias of Iran. He fought… Read more »
