BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:30 P.M.) – The Houthi forces launched an important counter-attck inside southern Saudi Arabia, today, after suffering a series of losses at the hands of the Arab Coalition.
Backed by heavy artillery and rockets, the Houthi forces managed to score a big advance on Sunday after overrunning the Saudi Coalition’s positions at Tal Al-Ahmar in the Jizan Province of southern Saudi Arabia.
According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their troops managed to capture Tal Al-Ahmad and force the Saudi Coalition to retreat from the area.
The Houthi forces claimed that their troops killed and wounded several Saudi Coalition fighters while seizing a large quantity of their weapons that were left behind at Tal Al-Ahmar.
This advance by the Houthi forces was much needed as they had suffered a series of losses that left them nearly encircled in the Harad area near the border.
