Las Fuerzas Tigre, destacamento de élite del Ejército Árabe Sirio (EAS), están siendo reagrupadas en el norte del campo de la provincia de Hama y no en las planicies de al-Ghaab como se reportó previamente.

De acuerdo a fuentes de la 4ª División ubicadas cerca de Mhardeh, las Fuerzas Tigre comenzarán sus operaciones en la zona, donde buscarán sellar el eje Hama-Idlib por primera vez desde el inicio del conflicto.

En particular, este destacamento buscará liberar la fortaleza de Jaysh al-Izza en al-Lataminah y Kafr Zita, dos pueblos ubicados sobre el límite entre ambas provincias.

Ambas localidades además se ubican en la estratégica autopista Damasco-Alepo, lo que hace su liberación extremadamente importante para el Comando General del EAS.

De manera paralela las tropas gubernamentales presionarán en las planicies de al-Ghaab para recuperar el histórico pueblo de Qal’at Al-Madiq.

Desde ahí podrán avanzar hacia el norte en dirección al distrito de Jisr al-Shughour por primera vez desde su retirada del área en mayo de 2015.
