Captured Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman says he was saved by the Pakistani army from an angry mob. He made the remarks in a statement released by the Pakistani army moments before he was handed back to India on Friday evening.

“My parachute opened and I fell down, I had a pistol with me and there were too many people on the ground,” he said, speaking straight to the camera.

“Two soldiers from the Pakistani army approached me and they saved me from the mob.”

Abhinandan Varthaman walked across the only legal border crossing between the two countries, escorted by Pakistani military.

The pilot also praised the Pakistani army for its professionalism, saying he was very impressed, blaming Indian media for adding “fire and red chilly” to minor issues.

Ha Ha..Pakistanis trying their hand at propaganda with captured POW before his release.

It is true that they saved this Indian Pilot who was shot down from the angry mob local pakistani villagers but what Pakistanis arent telling the world is that they could not save their own 2 pilots whose F – 16 was downed by this Indian Pilot using his MIG 21 and one pakistani pilot was dead on landing and the other semi conscious Pakistani Pilot was lynched by their own mob thinking him to be enemy pilot.

I’ve already seen MiG-21 on perfect flight condition for €/$ 30k on civilian 2nd hand market.

But such things sell very bad : pilot licenses, crazy papers, but moreover, you need a full team to maintain and when you burn 2000L of kerosene in a few minutes…

In fact, jets are just like yachts for private owners : you’re happy twice : when you buy it and when you resell it 😉

Pakis showed the wreckage of their own F-16 saying it was the 2nd Indian aircraft downed and they had no losses, but you perfectly recognised the F-16’s F110 engine.

It’s a breach of Geneva convention to parade POWs.

Or torture and rape them. Or force them to make a human pyramid while naked and take photos. Or murder them in custody.
