Military advisors of the People’ Protection Units (YPG) have reportedly left the Syrian northern city of Manbij after Turkey and US agreed on roadmap to remove the Kurdish militia.

YPG advisors provided assistance to Manbij Military Council (MMC) since the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, of which it is a component, took over the city from ISIS on August 12, 2016.

Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, and his American counterpart held bilateral talks in Washington where they endorsed a roadmap for Manbij and underlined their mutual commitment to its implementation.

According to the deal, the Kurdish militia shall be removed from the city which will be then administrated by a joint Turkish-American forces.
