BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 P.M.) – A short while ago, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) fired flares above the Lebanese town of Wazzani as their troops began an unusual night raid.

According to a Lebanese Army communique, the Israeli Defense Forces entered this town in the Sheba’a Farms region and began raiding the area.

The reason for the raid is unknown; however, the Lebanese Army has since been placed on high alert as this night operation has raised their concerns.

Earlier tonight, Israeli warplanes were seen over the Sheba’a Farms region but this kind of air activity is not unusual for them.
