The Boko Haram terrorist group killed 10 people, abducted 13 and burnt the village of Kubrrivu near the northeastern town of Chibok on Saturday.
The attack happened on early Saturday morning whilst most residents were still sleeping. The terrorists only withdrew after abducting women and children and looting all food supplies and livestock in the village.
The same village was first raided by Boko Haram in 2014.
Last year, Amnesty International said at least 2,000 women and girls had been kidnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria since the beginning of 2014, and many of them forced into sexual slavery or combat.
The group swore allegiance to ISIS in March 2015.
