BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:45 P.M.) – An Armenian church has been restored in Aleppo city after suffering material damage due to the ongoing war inside of Syria.

The Armenian Apostolic Church of the Holy Mother of God under went construction recently to repair its bell tower and other parts of the building that were damaged as a result of artillery fire from the militant-held areas in Aleppo.

New photos of the construction project were released this week by Studio Venus; they show the recent work done to the church after the start of the project.

Syria’s Armenians, including many abroad, have contributed to the country’s reconstruction by funding projects like this to repair infrastructure damaged during the war.

Furthermore, Armenia has contributed a great deal to Syria throughout the years, including the deployment of doctors to help the people of Aleppo.

A stupid remark about christian zionists. The article is about Syrians, incl christians and Armenians, all christians, supporting reconstruction of an important monument and the support they have given to the wider Syrian community over the years in the difficult present.

Note it is estimated that only 10-20% of Armenians remain in Syria. I challenge you to show me any proof Pastor… Read more »
