BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:40 P.M.) – President of the Argentine Football Association Claudio Tapia apologised on Wednesday for cancelling a friendly game against Israel which was scheduled to take place in Jerusalem on Saturday.

“I would like to apologise to all the Argentinian people who live in the Israeli community, to all the Israelis who bought tickets so quickly to see the Argentinian team”, said Tapia during a press conference in Barcelona.

“My responsibility as President of the Argentinian Football Association is to fight for the health and physical integrity of all the delegation and, in my role, I made this decision. So I simply apologise to the Israeli community. [This was] nothing against the Israeli community, it is nothing against the Jewish community, rather the opposite, and I think and I would like that, from this moment, everyone considers my decision as a contribution to world peace”, he added.

On Tuesday, the Argentinian selection decided to cancel the pro-World Cup friendly game against Israel, following political pressure.

The decision sparked outrage from Israeli officials.

Why is Argentina apologising ? They were smart enough to defuse yet another devious israeli plan to shift the match from haifa to jerusalem and use them and messi as political propaganda.,,

havent verified this but it seems Lionel Messi said something like this,

Lionel Messi on TyC Sport: “As a UNICEF ambassador I cannot play against people who kill innocent palestinian children. We had to cancel the game because we are humans before footballers.“ Love you Messi Respect ????❤

There were life threats on Argie team coming from the terrorist groups that get funding from BDS, namely Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the infamous PFLP. PFLP become “famous” by loading a bomb into a Swissair Convair 900, killing about 100 passengers and also hiring the nefarious Carlos the Jackal to spread terror all over Europe and many many other coward attacks. PFLP is the pseudo-marxist sub-group in the PLO. In fact, they’re just bloodthirsty motherfückers. Actually, BDS bank account are being closed all around the world since it was discovered they transferred money to terrorists. PayPal alone blocked all BDS-related… Read more »
